Situated in the centre of the historic Cathedral City of Canterbury are the long established auction rooms of The Canterbury Auction Galleries. There is extensive public car parking opposite the auction house and the main line railway station (Canterbury West Station) provides regular services to London. A calendar is produced each year, to include six specialist auctions of Fine Arts and Antiques, and these sales contain a selection of antique and quality furniture, ceramics and glassware, silver and jewellery, objets d'art and collectors' items, oil paintings, watercolours, prints and drawings, clocks and watches, and rugs and carpets. Supplementing these specialist sales are monthly auctions, which include a selection of Victorian, Edwardian and modern furniture, china, glassware, pictures and collectors' items, etc. There are extensive viewing arrangements, including evenings, in our spacious well-lit galleries for all our sales. We also specialise in the production of comprehensive written valuations for Insurance, Probate and Family Division purposes.
