A 19th Century oak longcase clock by R. Tennison of Chesterfield, the 13ins painted arched dial with Arabic numerals and seconds aperture, painted with a castle by a river to arch to the thirty hour two train movement striking on a bell, contained in case crossbanded in mahogany and inlaid with stringings, moulded scroll pediment and turned columns to hood, shaped trunk door with fluted quartered columns to sides, on plinth base and bracket feet, 89ins high.
