A late 19th Century Cantagali maiolica oval two-handled shallow dish decorated in the "Urbino" style in colours with putti in romantic landscapes, and with moulded twin snake pattern handles, on four paw feet, 18.75ins x 12.5ins x 7.75ins high (black painted cockerel pattern mark to base - body cracked in places and with old restoration, with fritting around rim)
