A Thomas Smith & Co stoneware baluster shaped ewer incised in the manner of Hannah Barlow with a recumbent lion and lioness and leaf sprigs decorated in blue on a buff ground, the shoulder and base moulded with beaded bosses, scroll handle, on circular footrim, 11.75ins high (with impressed mark for T. Smith & Co, Old Kent Road, London to base - two hairline cracks to neck and small chip to rim)
