Underhill of Newport, the 12ins arched painted dial with calendar aperature to the eight day two train movement now striking on a bell, contained in case with scrolled cresting and turned pillars to hood, the trunk door inlaid with oval paterae, on moulded plinth base, 85ins high Note: William Underhill recorded working in Underhill (Shropshire) 1828-1835
