Rosie Turner: In Conversation at The Canterbury Auction Galleries28/09/17
Our 2017 talks in partnership with Canterbury Festival are back this October with the third in this years series sure to make for an interesting evening.
The 2017 talk series at The Canterbury Auction Galleries follows a successful series of talks in 2016 to mark The Canterbury Auction Galleries 25th Anniversary. The talks are held in partnership with Canterbury Festival and our October talk will offer listeners the chance to discover more about Canterbury Festival from the Director of the Festival herself.
Rosie Turner describes her 35 years in Festivals as ‘a life sentence’ - but she says this with a huge smile on her face. In an intimate and revelatory interview, journalist and broadcaster Peter Williams puts Canterbury Festival’s Director under the microscope. Meet the woman behind the organisation.
Doors will open at 6.00pm giving you the chance to view our forthcoming October Auction which will include Fine Art and Antiques and will have a special emphasis on Oriental Porcelain and Works of Art.
The talk will commence at 7.00pm.
At 8.00pm you can enjoy our complimentary wine and nibbles and have a chance to meet the speaker and our valuers.
