A George V silver and silver gilt model of a cradle of oval form and with gadroon mounts, on twin leaf cast scroll end supports with turned finials, 7.75ins x 6.25ins x 6.25ins high overall, complete with silver presentation plaque surmounted by silver and enamel Gillingham crest and worded "Presented to the Mayor and Mayoress of Gillingham, Alderman and Mrs G.C. Swain, by the Corporation on the Occasion of the Birth of their Son Norman Swain on the 14th June 1913 During the Third Year of their Office", by Horace George Croneen, Chester 1913, mounted on cloth covered and ebonised rectangular plinth base, on ball feet, and ebonised and glazed cover for same, 11.5ins x 9.75ins x 9.125ins high
