A 19th Century Anglo-Indian blackwood side cabinet (from the Bombay area), the whole fretted and carved with mythical beasts, birds and scrolled leafage, shaped back and shaped front, with one shelf enclosed by a single shaped door with fretted and carved centre panel, flanked by shaped columns with lions heads scrolls and mythical beast pattern feet, 33ins wide x 17ins deep x 45ins high (top surface marked, with some damage and lacking one rear foot) Note : See Amin Jaffer - "Furniture from British India and Ceylon", V.& A.
