A 19th Century Mahogany Cased Mantel Timepiece, by W. Burgess, the rectangular silvered dial with 3.125ins diameter central dial with Roman numerals within engraved leaf scroll borders, to the eight day single train chain and fusee movement with substantial brass plates and with plain turned pillars, contained in plain mahogany case of architectural design inset with bevelled glass panels to front and sides, on block feet, 8.5ins high
