An Early 19th Century Mahogany Longcase Clock, by Simpson of Hadleigh, the 12ins arched painted metal dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the arch and spandrels painted with floral sprays and oval paterae, to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in figured mahogany case with slender moulded scroll pediment and turned and fluted pillars to hood, 84ins high
