A 19th Century French gilt spelter and porcelain mounted mantel clock by Japy Freres, No. 8217, the 3ins diameter porcelain dial with Roman numeral filled circular cartouches on a turquoise ground with floral band to centre, contained in gilt spelter case surmounted by two seated cupids and inset with rectangular panel depicting two cupids flanked by oval floral panels, with swag mounts, on turned feet, 12.75ins high (scroll bracket to side loose and damaged and generally in need of restoration)
