Mayer of Paris, the 3.75ins diameter gilt dial with Roman numerals to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in case with champleve enamel decoration to the front, back and sides, the domed centre with turned finial and cupid figure to foreground and four turned columns to corners, each with standing cupid support, on bun feet, 21ins high, complete with original pendulum and a later key
