A 19th Century French Gilt Metal and Porcelain Mantel Clock by Japy Freres and Co, No.6050, the 3.5ins diameter porcelain dial with Roman numerals within gilt reserves on a royal blue ground, the centre enamelled with floral garland to the eight day two train movement, striking on a bell, contained in case surmounted by three putti playing musical instruments, the front inset with porcelain panels enamelled in colours with floral sprays, the case decorated with floral swags and musical trophies, on bracket feet, 14.5ins high, on shaped gilt and cloth covered base and on ebonised base and under glass dome
