An 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock, by Ball of Bicester, the 12ins arched painted dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary minute and seconds dials, painted shell motif to arch, to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, in oak and mahogany banded case, with arched and reeded top, later turned finials, and gilt metal mounted columns to hood, shaped trunk door and quarter columns to sides, on plinth base, 87ins high
