Sunday 10 Apr, 2022 - 10.00amA 19th Century Mahogany Longcase Clock, containing an 18th Century movement by John Wimble of Ashford, the 12ins arched brass dial with wide silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the matted dial centre engraved with birds and urn of fruit, the gilt spandrels with mask and leaf scroll ornament within engraved borders, to the eight day two train five pillar movement, in a 19th Century mahogany case probably by Goulden of Canterbury, with shaped crest rails and turned and fluted pillars to hood, arched figured veneered trunk door, on bracket feet, 82ins high (lacking finials)
