An 18th Century Mahogany Longcase Clock by Benjamin Smith of Canterbury, the 12ins arched silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, the whole carved with leaf scroll ornament, to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, in a case with arched and moulded cornice with pagoda top, brass turned finials and fluted columns to hood, shaped trunk door with brass mounted and fluted quarter columns to sides on plinth base with moulded front, 95ins high
