A mid 19th Century gilt brass cased "Strut" clock in the manner of Thomas Cole, retailed by Dent 33 Cockspur Street, London, the 3.375ins diameter silvered dial with Roman numerals and engraved with strapwork to centre, fleur-de-lis pattern hands, within pierced and engraved gilt brass slip to eight day single train movement with balance escapement and integral keywind, in gilt brass shield pattern strut frame, the three tier borders engraved with rope ornament, 6.5ins x 5.75ins overall
