An 18th Century mahogany longcase clock by Arlan Dobson of London, the 12ins arched brass dial with gilt brass spandrels, the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals and with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture and strike/silent lever to arch, to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in case with arched cresting, turned and reeded pillars to hood, arched trunk door, on bracket feet, 92ins high Note : Arlander Dobson recorded working Covent Garden, London 1744, died 1772
