A late 19th Century German oak cased mantel clock by Winterhalter & Hofmeier, the 7ins arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and three regulation dials to arch to the eight day three train movement striking and chiming on nine gongs, contained in case with arched and moulded top, the borders carved with mask and leaf ornament, the conforming caryatid front supports carved with flowers with rope and moulded borders, 23ins high
