A Chinese "Famille Verte" porcelain model of a house boat decorated in green, yellow, turquoise and black in the "Kangxi" manner with a dragon to the side of the boat and fish and landscapes to the upper section, with cloud and wave motifs to lower bow, 9.75ins (247mm) x 3.5ins (89mm) x 6ins (152mm) high (Qing Dynasty - late 19th Century - the front chipped with piece missing and broken and restored - some slight firing cracks) Provenance : From the collection of Willem Frederik Van Heukelom (1858-1937) who lived at Museumplein 19, Amsterdam, and thence by family descent Note : Included in Sotheby & Co's auction of the collection of W.F. Van. Heukelom, 16th/17th June 1937 as lot 187, and with photocopy of catalogue entry
