An 1878 Paris Exposition Universelle gold Prize Medal, by J.C.Chaplain, laureate bust of France left, signed below truncation, the reverse with Victory flying above the exhibition grounds with trumpet and wreath, the winner's name carried above the head of a young winged figure, scribed "Exposition Universelle Internationale de 1878. Paris", signed, awarded to "Fowler John et Cie", 68mm diameter (weight 227 grammes)
