A 16th Century European leather covered wooden domed top trunk with wrought iron carrying handles and brass nail studding, the top painted with shields of arms, the ends with later (?) portraits of a man and a woman in the Italian Renaissance manner, and with two locks, 46.5ins wide x 17.5ins deep x 21.5ins high (some damage)
