A mid 19th Century French ormolu and porcelain mounted mantel clock by J.B.D., No. 2936 16, the 3.75ins diameter white enamelled dial with Roman numerals to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in ormolu and porcelain mounted case with slightly matted finish and oval two-handled urn to crest and the front inset with a porcelain panel below the dial and two curved porcelain panels to sides, decorated with cherubs and musical trophies within a pink and gilt border, the case with twin pineapple finials and bold leaf mounts, on four turned feet, 13.75ins high, and giltwood plinth for same
