Marti & Cie, No. 28284.11, the rectangular porcelain dial with 4.125ins diameter chapter ring with Arabic numeral cartouches, the lower dial enamelled in colours with huntsmen in 18th Century attire in a wooded glade to the eight day two train movement striking on a gong, contained in rectangular lacquered brass case with turned and reeded finials and cast flowerhead pattern frieze, turned and reeded columns to sides, with cast leaf mounts to base, 12.5ins high (with later presentation inscription to side panel dated 18-3-44)
