A 19th Century French gilt brass mounted green veined marble mantel clock by Japy Freres, retailed by P. Roussel, Paris, the 3.25ins diameter marble dial with applied gilt brass Roman numerals (three missing) to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, in ornate shaped green veined marble case with gilt brass oval urn and decorated with flowers and birds, the top with gilt brass bird and scroll mounts (some missing), on five bun feet, 18ins high (case somewhat damaged, lacking mounts and pendulum and generally in need of restoration)
