Provenance: Presented to Aubrey Hillman of Saxonbury, Lewes, by Sussex County Council on his retirement as chairman approximately 100 year ago. Vendor's grandfather's aunt was governess to Hillman's children and became his second wife on the death of Mrs Hillman. Thence by family descent.
