A good late 18th/early 19th Century mahogany longcase clock by Richard Comber of Lewes, the 12ins arched brass dial with central circular silvered dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, with separate Strike/Not Strike dial to arch, to the eight day two train five pillar movement with anchor escapement striking on bell with pull repeat lever, contained in plain mahogany case with moulded cornice and plain turned pillars to hood, arched trunk door, banded plinth base with later shaped and moulded plinth, 91ins high (including finials - thought to have been reduced in height)
