An old panelled oak mule chest in the James I manner, the three plank lid with moulded edge, the frieze and central panels inlaid in holly and bog oak with stylised leaf and interlocking ornament, with twin panels carved with flowers within an arch interspersed by bold carved caryatids, fitted two drawers under, the fronts inlaid with trailing floral ornament, on later plinth base, 56ins wide x 24ins deep x 38.5ins high (partially reconstructed using old components)
