A good pair of Japanese silver high-shouldered slender baluster shaped vases by Kobayashi Kako for the Hattori Company, finely engraved and inlaid in gilt with birds perched on hibiscus flowering branches, 8.5ins (21.6cm) high, signed to body and stamped Jungin (Pure silver, made by Hattori) to base, (Taisho (1912-1926) or Showa (1926-1989) period - early 20th Century), and hardwood stands for same
