A Victorian Regimental silver gilt cup and cover of Mannerist design, the whole cast with scroll strapwork, cartouche Putti and fruiting vines, with fruiting vine pattern finial, with bulbous knop to stem, embossed with classical figures and with three rams heads, on confirming circular base, 6ins diameter x 9.75ins high, the lid by Andrew Crespel, London 1861, and engraved "From Charles Mansfield Clarke, to his Brother Officers, In Remembrance of His Service from Ensign to Colonel in the 'Die Hard'", the cup by Charles Thomas Fox and George Fox, London 1857, engraved with the 57th (West Middlesex) Regiment crest, (weight 21ozs - gilding rubbed)
