An early Victorian mahogany drop dial cased wall clock by Percival James of Woolwich, the 12ins diameter repainted domed metal dial with Roman numerals, to the eight day single train movement, with shaped brass plates with turned and knopped pillars, contained in mahogany case, with cast bezel and with domed glass, narrow turned mahogany bezel and leaf pattern wings to sides, the curved based drop case with brass framed shaped glazed panel, inlaid with brass stringings and paterae, 19ins high
Note: Percival James is recorded working in Woolwich from 1817-1855. A James Percival is recorded working in Woolwich around 1839.
