A Late Victorian Ebonised and Gilt Brass Mounted Mantel Clock, by J. C. Jennens of London, the 8ins arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals within ornate gilt brass floral and scroll spandrels and matted dial centre, the arch with twin Chime/Silent and Chime Selector dial, to the eight day three train chain and fusee movement striking and quarter chiming on nine bells and a gong, the whole with heavy brass plates with engraved back plate, contained in ebonised and gilt brass mounted case with arched and moulded top with square top cresting with five turned urn and flambeau finials, winged caryatids to sides, on brass ogee bracket feet, 24ins high
