A Late 19th Century Ebonised and Gilt Brass Mounted Mantel Clock, by Dent, 34 Cockspur Street, London, the 7ins arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals within ornate gilt brass spandrels, the arch with Chime/Silent and Chime selector dials, to the eight day three train movement striking and quarter chiming on eight bells and gong, the movement with heavy brass plates and engraved back plate, contained in arched top of "18th Century" design with gilt brass urn and flambeau finials and female caryatids mounts to front, on gilt brass leaf scroll feet, 16.25ins high
