A Late Victorian Ebonised and Brass Mounted Bracket Clock, by Dent, No. 4 Royal Exchange, London, the 8ins arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, Chime/Silent dial and tune selector dial to arch, matted dial centre and with gilt brass Rococo pattern spandrels, to the eight day three train movement striking and quarter chiming on eight bells and a gong, the movement with heavy brass plates and engraved back plate and pendulum, contained in ebonised arched and moulded case, gilt brass finials and fluted columns with Corinthian capitals to front, folding handles to sides, on ogee bracket feet, 18.5ins high, and with conforming bracket with gilt brass Caryatid mounts and scroll supports, 19ins wide x 11ins deep x 13ins high
