A late 19th Century 18k gold full hunting cased minute repeating complicated multifunction keyless lever pocket watch by Maurice Ditisheim No. 12154, the white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and with four central subsidiary dials showing day, date, month and phases of the moon, with stop/start sweep centre hand, the 30 jewelled movement with pale gilded plates and minute repeating on two gongs with two hammers, in plain 18k gold case, the inner cover engraved with the dates of medals awarded Geneva 1896 to Paris 1889, 60mm diameter (gross weight 166 grammes), (circa 1896)
Note: Maurice Ditisheim born 1831 and died 1899, in 1858 he founded his company at La-Shaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in 1894 he produced watches and branded them with the name of "Vulcain".
