An Elizabeth II silver and silver gilt travelling chess set, with interlocking cylindrical pieces, Kings 1.5ins high, Pawns .75ins high, and with leather and silver folding chess board, 12ins square by C.E. London 1972, contained in black leather covered storage box.
Note: Thought to have been made and designed to commemorate the World Chess Championship match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky, Reykjavik 1972, and with Penguin book regarding the match by Francis Wyndham, published 1972
