Edward Smissen

Ted joined the Canterbury Auction Galleries in 2016. Originally starting out as an apprentice porter, he has gradually worked his way up to the position of Trainee Auctioneer /Junior Cataloguer.

Now studying for an MA from the University of Central Lancashire based in Preston, Ted has a keen interest in history and many other aspects of the antiques industry, predominantly focusing on furniture, Oriental rugs and carpets.
